Cherokee Village - - a paradise in Spring River Country

The Legend:   In the 18th century an Indian tribe was in this area.   There was a terrible draught.   The Chief sent his Son and several warriors to look for water.   During the expedition, his Son died.   As they buried him a wellspring of water erupted.   The Chief decreed that this was a miracle from their God and would flow forever.   To this day, the flow is over nine million gallons per minute . . . always at exactly 58 degrees.
